The Tram is open from 9:00am to 9:30pm, 7 days a week for sightseeing rides. When you reach the top of the Tram, reward yourself with a drink or snack at Glacier Express Restaurant or stop by the Roundhouse Museum to learn more about the history of the area, open daily from 9:30am - 7:00pm, free admission. UPCOMING EVENTS: New North Face Trail
- Open for hiking on August 1
- Grand Opening Ribbon Cutting Ceremony Open at 2pm and is scheduled for at the top of the Tram on August 22, 2009, in conjunction with the Blueberry Festival. Meet at the Tram base at noon for a guided hiking tour of the new North Face Trail. Once completed, the trail will offer a challenging route up or down Mt. Alyeska for advanced hikers.
- Currently the trail is closed to hiking during construction.
- The North Face Vertical Challenge Climb-a-thon is scheduled for September 12, and participants will compete to see who can get the most uphill laps on the NF Trail from 9am - 6pm, downloading on the Tram
